Job Description

Nadi Home Services is assisting a client in hiring a Cargo and Freight Manager to oversee the efficient transportation, handling, and delivery of goods. The ideal candidate should have strong logistics experience, excellent coordination skills, and a keen understanding of supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, and coordination of cargo shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and customs requirements.
  • Monitor cargo handling, storage, and transportation to prevent delays or damages.
  • Negotiate contracts with carriers, suppliers, and logistics partners.
  • Track shipments and ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Implement and optimize cost-effective freight solutions.
  • Supervise cargo staff and ensure safety and operational procedures are followed.
  • Handle any freight-related issues, including delays, damages, or lost shipments.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and logistics reports.
    Requirements:
  • Proven experience in cargo, freight, or logistics management.
  • Strong understanding of shipping regulations, customs procedures, and supply chain operations.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Knowledge of logistics software and tracking systems is a plus.
