Language and Communication Teacher

Job Description

Licer Kindergarten is seeking a passionate, friendly, and engaging Language & Communication Teacher to help young learners develop strong speaking, listening, and early reading skills. The ideal candidate should create a fun, language-rich environment where children feel comfortable expressing themselves.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach oral language development, phonics, and pre-writing skills using engaging activities like storytelling, songs, and rhymes.
• Foster a love for reading by introducing children to picture books, flashcards, and interactive storytelling sessions.
• Encourage self-expression through role-playing, conversations, and interactive discussions.
• Create a warm and friendly classroom atmosphere where children feel confident to communicate.
• Work closely with parents to guide them in supporting language development at home.
• Assess children’s progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet their individual needs.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching young children under the CBC curriculum.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a friendly approach to engaging with kids.
• Ability to create a print-rich, stimulating learning environment.
