Job Description

Nadi Home Services is assisting a client in hiring a Cargo & Freight Agent to coordinate the shipment of goods, handle logistics, and ensure smooth transportation processes. The ideal candidate should have experience in freight handling, shipping documentation, and logistics coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Arrange and coordinate the transportation of cargo by air, land, or sea.
• Prepare and process shipping documents, customs forms, and invoices.
• Track shipments and ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle customer inquiries, provide shipping quotes, and manage bookings.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, safety procedures, and shipping laws.
• Resolve shipping issues such as delays, damages, or lost cargo.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, transactions, and logistics reports.

Requirements:

• Experience in cargo handling, freight forwarding, or logistics.
• Knowledge of shipping regulations, customs clearance, and freight documentation.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with logistics software and tracking systems is an added advantage.
