Job Summary

Our Client is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Waiters/Waitresses to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a positive and memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

Responsibilities:  

  • Customer Service:Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.Provide attentive and personalized service throughout the dining experience.
  • Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly to requests.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns efficiently.
  • Build rapport with regular customers.
  • Order Taking and Service:Accurately take food and beverage orders, ensuring all special requests and dietary restrictions are noted.
  • Enter orders into the POS system accurately and efficiently.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and correctly, following established service standards.
  • Ensure proper presentation of dishes and beverages.
  • Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction.
  • Present bills and process payments accurately.
  • Restaurant Operations:Set up and clear tables efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors.
  • Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
  • Restock supplies as needed.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service
  • Knowledge of daily specials, and promotional items.
  • Cash Handling: Process cash and credit card payments accurately.
  • Balance cash drawer at the end of the shift.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress preferred, but not required
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry trays and other service items.
  • Positive attitude and a professional appearance.
