Job Description
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Casual Cleaners to perform high-quality cleaning services for both residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various environments, including sofa cleaning, carpet cleaning, general cleaning, and other specialized cleaning tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Conduct specialized cleaning services such as sofa cleaning, carpet cleaning, and upholstery cleaning using appropriate equipment and chemicals.
- Clean and sanitize residential and commercial spaces, including offices, homes, and other facilities as assigned.
- Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, following company guidelines and industry standards.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards observed during cleaning.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the client’s satisfaction.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with clients and team members.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements & Skills
- Previous experience in cleaning services (residential/commercial) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of carpet cleaning, sofa cleaning, and general cleaning techniques.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment (e.g., vacuum cleaners, steam cleaners, pressure washers).
- Physically fit to perform repetitive tasks, lift/move cleaning supplies, and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Trustworthy, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and chemical handling.
Working Conditions
- Flexible hours (casual/on-call basis).
- Travel to different client locations may be required.
- May involve working early mornings, evenings, or weekends based on demand.
